Beta Girls Organization set to empower female students of Catholic University Buea via a #BetaGirlsTalk Event on Women & Entrepreneurship!

Beta Girls Organization is a nonprofit organisation founded in 2017 by Clarisse Ndinge.

The objective of Beta Girls Organization is to inspire, educate and empower women in all issues concerning women.

This is done via our a blog; betagirls.org and sensitisation talks dubbed Beta Girls Talk, where a topic is chosen and qualified speakers in the area of expertise are invited to share their knowledge with other girls.

So far the Beta Girls Organization has engaged in the following events:

--10th July 2017- On the 10th of July 2017, in partnership with MIVEG Foundation, Beta Girls Organization gave a talk to the young teenagers of Bonakanda Village about pre-marital sex and how to avoid unwanted pregnancies, Here is a link with more information on the event:


--27th October: On the 27th of October, the first official Beta Girls Talk was conceived. It was a talk to the female students of Revival Comprehensive Bilingual Evening School Bonamoussadi, Douala about breast cancer. Read all about it Here:


--Sunday the 10th of December 2017 marked the last day of the 16 Day Activism towards Gender based violence, so Beta Girls Organization teamed up with Aid Refugee Children-ARC to give a talk on violence against women to the Uppersixth students of Saker Baptist College, Limbe.

This time, Beta Girls Organization will be giving a talk to the female students of the Catholic University of Buea(CUIB) on the 28th of March 2018 about girls and Entrepreneurship.

The speakers would be Ngassa Nina; CEO of V.W Catering and Events services and Yefon Mainsah; COO of Vokkal.

It will be moderated by Clarisse Ndinge.
