We stumbled on this story by Nyckol Delasol on Instagram and decided to share it because it shows how much strength we women possess, and how much we are willing to take for our children.
A mother's love is priceless!

"Hazel's love marks. 🌙 Since a lot of people are asking me because they don't know why I have these scars. I went into complete heart failure one week after giving birth to my daughter on July 9th. I was in a two week coma, I was bleeding internally and externally, which means I had to receive blood transfusions. I had kidney and liver failure. Then I had a stroke. I had congestive heart failure. November I had open heart surgery to receive a heart machine. And in a year I will be having a heart transplant. I call them my daughters love marks because I do all this without fear because of her. Even though I almost lost my life I'm still here, and nothing makes me happier than waking up to her smiling face every morning. 💖 Also, I did have congestive heart failure prior to pregnancy. I was diagnosed in 2012. But being pregnant sent my heart over the edge. My doctors told me I had a 25% chance of living when I was 9 months which sent me into labor. I didn't know I was pregnant until I was 5 months. Dr's said if they would've known in first trimester they would have told me to terminate my daughter because my survival rate was extremely low."
