You do not get diabetes from eating sugary foods.
Type 1 Diabetes is as a result of failure of the beta cells in the pancreas to produce Insulin(insulin regulates blood sugar).
Type 2 Diabetes occurs when your body becomes insulin resistant and is not able to use the available insulin to regulate blood sugar.
Taking sugary foods will cause you to gain weight and become obese and obesity is a risk factor for Diabetes.
Not all overweight/obese people will get diabetes but note:
TOO MUCH SUGAR IS BAD FOR YOUR HEALTH!
Oily foods can clog the arteries and puts you at high risk of getting heart and heart related diseases, but not all oily foods are bad for your health.
Cut down on the bad cholesterol and take more of the good cholesterol.
