Some people go ahead nurturing unhealthy dating and relationship habits thinking they would change and become better lovers and partners when they get married, a completely false mentality. Habits become character. What you practice, you eventually become. So if you get used to telling lies to your partner, don't expect that to stop when you get married.  If your lover/boyfriend is an unrepentant womanizer, don't expect him to change just because he proposed to you and married you. If your boyfriend physically assaults you, don't think that he would stop beating you when you get married to him. If you are never satisfied with being in one relationship at a time, don't think that the man you marry will be enough for you...Marriage doesn't change people. As much as we all are not perfect we should acknowledge our weaknesses and make efforts to change them before getting physically, emotionally and spiritually bond to others in marriage.

“Watch your thoughts for they become words.
Watch your words for they become actions.
Watch your actions for they become habits.
Watch your habits for they become your character.
And watch your character for it becomes your destiny.
What we think, we become.
My father always said that... and I think I am fine.”
